How to Remove a Civic's Bumper

Locate the six bolts on the bottom of the Honda Civic front bumper and remove them with a metric socket and wrench. Unfasten the four self-tapping screws on the bottom of the front bumper with a screwdriver.

Detach the four bolts from the top of the front bumper with a metric socket and wrench.

Lift the front bumper of the Honda Civic off the vehicle frame by hand and set it aside.


Always set the emergency brake of the Honda Civic before attempting to remove the front bumper to keep the vehicle from rolling.
