How to send birthday greetings to a phone

Updated April 17, 2017

With the advent of Internet technology, paper greeting cards are easily replaced with virtual cards and birthday wishes. "Birthday Dialer" takes birthday greetings a step further, allowing users to select a birthday song to send to any phone number in the United States. The basic service is free and can be used an unlimited number of times. For a small fee, users can also send personalised messages and gain access to international recipients.

Navigate your browser to Birthdaydialer.com.

Click the "Send a Phone Greeting" button at the top of the page.

Enter your name in the text box and click the "Next" button.

Click the "No Thanks" button to decline the offer for birthday tokens and send a free greeting. Do so once more on the next page.

Select your desired greeting song from the list provided. Click the button bearing the small white triangle beside each selection to hear a preview. Click the "Next" button after you make your selection.

Click the "Next" button to decline the paid features until you are able to enter your recipient's number. Input the area code in the first box and phone number in the second. Click the "Next" button to continue.

Enter your e-mail address if you would like a notification once the greeting is sent. Click the "Send my birthday greeting" button when you are ready.

Tip

Click the "Purchase Birthday Tokens" button at the top of the page to access a bevy of special features. There are several token packages to choose from, ranging from one token for 95 cents, to 100 tokens for £12.90.
