How to Replace the Batteries in a Braun 7526 Shaver

Updated November 21, 2016

The Braun 7526 shaver, called the Syncro or Syncro Pro Shaver, is an electric shaver with an automatic cleaning base meant for men. Available at many department stores or general home retail stores, the shaver can be plugged in to charge the battery or batteries may be inserted into the base of the shaver. Replacing the batteries in a Braun 7526 shaver just takes a few steps.

Unplug the base unit and the shaver from the electrical plug and any outlets.

Look for a panel on the front of the shaver with a plus and a minus sign and two light indicators. Slide the panel down and away from the shaver.

Find two nickel-hydride batteries inside the shaver. Lift out the old batteries and recycle at an appropriate battery recycling centre once they die.

Place two new batteries in the shaver. Use the old batteries as a guide to purchase new batteries, which you can purchase at most drugstores or hardware stores.

Slide the front panel back on to the shaver. Plug the electrical cord back in to the bottom of the shaver and connect to an electrical socket to charge the batteries. Alternatively, place the shaver in the base unit to charge.
