MP3's are a particular music format that cannot be played by standard audio CD players. To play music in MP3 format, your car must be equipped with a MP3 CD player, which can be added as an option since it does not come standard in the Honda Civic. Since it's not safe to flip through your CD's to find your favourite songs while driving, record, or burn, your favourite songs onto an MP3 CD without the use of third party software and create your ultimate mixed CD.

Click the "Start" button on the bottom left corner of the desktop. In Windows 7 and Windows Vista, the start button is a marked with a Windows icon while in Windows XP, the start button is labelled "Start." After clicking the "Start" button, hover over "Programs" and select "Windows Media Player."
Click "Copy to CD or Device." If you have a playlist you would like to turn into an MP3 CD, click the "Music" tab and select the playlist. If you want to search through all your music, click the same tab as before and select "All Music." Once you find a song you like, check the box next to it to move it from the menu on the left to the burn queue on the right.
Put a blank CD into your burner drive. Change the write speed and quality level by adjusting the settings found in the "Properties" tab. Click the drop-down list above the right menu then click the "Copy" button to burn your MP3 CD.
