How to Embed a WAV Player

As long as you have a fundamental knowledge of how to work with HTML, embedding a WAV player into your website should not take too long or cause too many complications. Aside from there being a different file type that you place in the embed code, not many differences in the code you embed for a WAV file exist versus the code for most other kinds of sound files.

    Log in to your website's Web server.

    Click on the page anywhere below the <body> tag. This is where you embed the WAV player.

    Insert the following code:

    <EMBED height="20" SRC="http://www.website/sounds/files/yourfile.WAV" VOLUME="50" loop="true" controls="console" AUTOSTART="FALSE" width="128">

    Replace "http://www.website/sounds/files/yourfile.WAV" with the actual file path for the WAV file you want to play.

    Click "Publish." The WAV player is now embedded.
