The traditional apple crumble resembles an apple pie except it lacks a crust and has a crunchy and sweet layer of crumble on top. If you make more than one apple crumble for your family, serve one warm and fresh out of the oven and freeze the remaining dessert. Apple crumble freezes well. After it's thawed, warm it in the oven before serving.

Wrap the apple crumble tightly in the aluminium foil. Write the date and the contents on the top of the package with the permanent marker.

Place the apple crumble into the freezer. A fresh apple crumble will keep in a freezer for three to four months.

Thaw the apple crumble in the fridge for 12 hours. Warm the apple crumble in a 180 degrees C (350F) oven for 15 minutes.
