Updated March 23, 2017

The 2003 Mercedes-Benz CLK 320 features a 3.2-litre V-6 power plant rated at 215hp, electronic stability control, five-speed automatic transmission and fully independent suspension. In order to increase the CLK 320's cargo capacity, you have the option of folding down the vehicle's rear seats, which will allow you to transport larger items more easily. Folding the rear seats down for extra cargo space is an easy task that takes a few seconds to complete.

Start the CLK 320's engine. Press the back headrest button located on the centre dashboard console. Fold the rear headrests back by pressing the release button located on the sides of the headrests while pushing forward on the cushions.

Open the boot. Locate the red release handle for the rear backrest. Turn the release handle counterclockwise.

Pull the release handles located on the exterior sides of the bottom seat cushions. Fold the bottom seat cushion forward.

Grasp the top of the rear seat's backrest. Fold it forward to complete the process.
