When you purchase a Macintosh computer, you have the option to buy One to One, a membership service that provides personal set-up and training for a year. Once you've purchased One to One, you must activate your membership on Apple's website to begin using the service. Personalised assistance is available whenever the Apple Store is open, and you also can make an online reservation for assistance.
Go to the Apple One to One website (link in References).
Scroll down to the "Already a Member?" section of the page and click the "Get Started" hyperlink to activate your membership.
Click the "Activate Your Membership" button in the browser window and enter the activation code into the appropriate field. The activation code is found on the blue card in your One to One kit or in the email from Apple if you purchased One to One online.
Enter your e-mail address as your Apple ID, create a password and a security question and answer for your new account. Enter your date of birth and click "Continue" to finalise the set-up process.
Select your state from the drop-down menu, and select the nearest Apple Store from the drop-down menu. Select the time you want to visit the store and click "Next" to finalise the reservation.
At the time of publication, the cost of the One to One service was £64.
