The side marker lights on your Nissan 350Z are part of the combination tail light assembly. The marker light illuminates when you turn on the parking lights of your car. Without the rear marker lights, your car is more difficult to see when you park in low light. If the marker light burns out on your 350Z, you can replace it in minutes at home. Buy a 168 bulb from an auto-parts retailer and replace the bulb in your own driveway.

Grasp the bulb socket closest to the outside edge of the 350Z’s light assembly. Turn the bulb socket counterclockwise and pull it back out of the light. Pull the bulb out of the socket. Insert a new bulb by pushing it straight into the socket.
Insert the bulb socket into the assembly and turn it clockwise until it stops. Align the tail light assembly and insert it into the rear of the car. Secure the assembly with the three retaining bolts. Tighten the bolts with a socket and ratchet.
