Next time your opponent summons a powerful monster such as “Jack's Knight” in a Yu-Gi-Oh card duel, you can counter with your own homemade monster such as the “Lunch Lady of Doom.” The Yu-Gi-Oh Card Maker is a website that lets you create your own Yu-Gi-Oh cards from scratch. These cards have all of the same information as other Yu-Gi-Oh cards and can be printed after you've finished creating them. While these cards cannot be used in tournaments, a group of friends can have a duel with their creations.

Go to the Yu-Gi-Oh Card Maker website. See “References” for a link to the site.
Enter the name of your card and select the Card Type. For example, you can create a Monster card called “Dragon Master” or a Spell card called “Magic Missiles.” Any combination of card type is available such as Tuner monsters and Synchro/Effect monsters.
Choose an attribute for your card. This is the element of your card such as light, dark, fire, wind or water.
Select the level of your card if you have chosen to make a Monster card. Remember, that Monster cards level 5 or higher require a tribute to summon, even when you're making the cards yourself.
Choose the rarity of the card. This denotes how common your card is. Unless you plan on mass producing your cards, the rarity will have no bearing on game play.
Click “Upload” next to the box labelled “Picture URL.” Choose an image from your computer to use as the card image. You can find images online and save them to your computer for use with your card. Additionally, you can create your own images in a free drawing program like MS Paint or Paintbrush or scan pictures into your computer. Click “Upload” after selecting an image to add it to your card.
Enter the “Circulation” of the card. In the standard game, this may be “1st Edition” or “Reprint.” You can choose to enter any text such as “One of a Kind” into the box.
Input the card number into the first box of “Set ID” and the total cards in the set you've created into the second box. The third card in a set of 15 will be displayed on the card as 3-15.
Enter the “Card Type” into the text box. For example, a monster may be a vampire, in which case enter “Vampire” into the box.
Add a description of your card into the box. For Spell and Trap cards, input the effect of playing the card. For example, a Spell card called “Clean Sweep” may have the effect of removing every Monster card from play.
Enter the “ATK/DEF” attributes of your card. Don't overpower your monster if you plan on using it in a duel. Keep the attributes under 2000 each.
Enter your name under “Creator” and the current year under “Year.” Click “Random” to generate a Serial Number.
Click “Generate” to make your card. The card will be displayed on the right side of the screen.
Save your card or select “Print” from your browser menu to print a copy. Cut the card out and paste it onto an old Yu-Gi-Oh card then add it to your deck.
