The iPad marries the functionality of an iPhone's applications with the large screen commonly found in net book computers. You can sync two iPads together so that they can share photos stored on one of them by using an application (or "app") that can synchronise the two together and transfer the photo from one to the other. Both iPads must be using the same wireless home network in order to be able to sync together,

  1. 1

    Press the Sleep/Wake button at the top of one of the two iPads. Slide the locking button at the bottom of the screen to the left to go to the Home menu screen.

    Tap the "App Store" icon. Wait as the "App Store" launches.

    Press the "Search" field column at the top right of the screen. Enter the name of a photo syncing app into the "Search" field column, for example, the free Mover Lite app (see the link in Resources).

    Tap on the name of the photo syncing app in the list that is presented on the screen. Wait as the photo syncing app that was selected appears on the screen.

    ap on the "Buy" or "Free" button at the upper right corner of the screen. Enter your iTunes/Apple user name and password in the appropriate columns in the window that appears.

    Wait as the photo syncing app loads onto the Home screen.

    Repeat the entire process now completed with the other iPad.

    Tap on the photo syncing app on both of the iPads. Wait as the photo syncing app displays a screen on each of the iPads.

    Tap the "+" button on the lower left corner of the photo syncing app's screen on one of the iPads.

    Tap "Add Photo" on the pop-up window. Tap on an icon on the Photo Library screen that appears.

    Select one of the photos in the Photo Library by tapping on it. Wait as the photo appears as a photo in a picture frame icon on the photo syncing app's screen.

    Flick the icon towards the edge of the screen that has text on it naming the other iPad's user.

    Wait as the icon disappears off the edge of the screen and then flies back into the centre of the screen.

    Wait as an icon of the photo appears in the centre of the photo syncing app's screen on the other iPad.

    Wait as a progress bar on the icon fills up completely and transfers the photo to the Photo Library of the other iPad.

  16. 16

    Press the "Home" buttons on both iPads to quit the photo syncing app and return to the Home screens.

Tips and warnings

  • Photos will sync the fastest if the latest wireless home network technology is being used.
  • A purchased photo syncing app can only be used on one iPad.
