These printers can experience some common technical problems, but there are some troubleshooting steps you can take to address such problems.

    Check to make sure that you are using proper paper. According to HP standards, you should not use paper that is too thin or textured.

    Shut off the printer if you receive a carriage jam error message. Wait 60 seconds and turn the printer back on.

    Unjam the printer if shutting down did not solve the paper jam. To do this, open the front printer door by pressing the tab located on the left-hand side of the door. Carefully remove the paper by pulling it gently. Replace the printer door when the paper is unjammed.
