How to Change a Shipping Address With PayPal

When you have a PayPal account, it is very important to keep all of your personal information up to date, including your shipping address. When you move or change your primary residence, you need to change your shipping address on PayPal as soon as possible so that you can receive PayPal statements and correspondence in a timely manner. Changing your address on PayPal only takes a few moments and is well worth the time spent.

Instructions

    Go to the PayPal website and log in by entering your e-mail address and password into the login bar on the left side of the page. Press the login button and then wait for your dashboard to load up.

    Click on the profile link. This is located on the left side of the top navigational bar. Then select "Street Address" from the account information section, which is on the left side of the page.

    Add your new address. The address page will have a table of all your current and past addresses. To add a new one, simply click on the "Add" button at the bottom of the page.

    Enter your address into the form and then click on save. Make sure to check the "home" box at the top of the page to indicate that this is your residential/shipping address.

    Delete your old address. Go back to the street address area and then check the box next to the address you wish to delete, and then press the delete button at the bottom of the page.

Tips and warnings

  • If you have more than one address, you can add all of them to PayPal, as the service can store up to 30 addresses with a free account.
