Soaps make excellent gifts for friends, as well as decorative accessories for your own home. Creatively wrapped soaps add a touch of personal design to home decor without a long-term colour commitment. A variety of paper and fabric designs allow you to make creative packages for soaps of any size. Colourful packaging options inspire themes for otherwise ordinary soaps often relegated to the bathroom cabinets.

Choose a road map from Hawaii or Florida for a tropical travel theme, a map of Wyoming or Colorado for a western theme or a map of Europe for a foreign travel theme. Unfold the map and cut it into two squares large enough to wrap two bars of the rectangular soaps like presents.
Place a bar of soap in the middle of the map square and wrap the map around the soap, meeting at the centre of the soap bar. Fold the sides of the map around the ends of the soap to make it look like a wrapped gift.
Secure the map with travel stickers. Place a sticker on each end of the soap bar and press an additional sticker at the centre to keep the map in place.
Cut two round 8-inch circles from the tulle fabric. Place a soap ball in the centre of each circle.
Wrap the tulle around each soap ball. Twist the fabric firmly at the top of the soap and tie with raffia for a secure closure.
Cut and tie 7 inch satin ribbons around the raffia for a touch of elegance. Tie the ribbon in small bows and let long streamers remain.
Cut seersucker fabric into rectangular swatches large enough to wrap around soap bars. Wrap the seersucker around the soap and twist at the ends where excess fabric overlaps the soap. Secure each fabric twist with a rubber band.
Cut two 3-inch lengths of the yellow grosgrain ribbon. Tie a ribbon in a single knot around each seersucker twisted end to conceal the rubber bands.
Cut remaining ribbon in two equal sections. Tie a bow around each end of the seersucker and pull the bow tight for added strength.
Fill a cardboard egg carton with small handfuls of decorative Easter grass. Pad the egg carton sections with enough decorative grass to cushion individual soaps.
Place egg-shaped soaps in each section of the egg carton. Cover the entire set lightly with extra decorative grass and secure the carton with the pink ribbon tied in a bow.
Decorate the egg carton with the Easter stickers. Seal the carton with one sticker at the centre of the closure where the carton is typically opened.
