The Arizona-based iGo company manufactures universal chargers for a variety of electronics such as laptops, mobile phones, digital cameras and MP3 players. Rather than needing a charger for each item you own, iGo's adaptor tips allow you to charge many different gadgets with only one charger that matches the tip series. As of December 2010, most iGo chargers cost £4.80.

Laptop Tips

iGo has five different product lines for laptop charger tips: the Zero Series, the 100 Series, the 700 Series and the S Series. The 700 Series works with iGo's Slim and Green chargers that claim to conserve power while charging your laptop. The other series fit with iGo's standard wall charger. The chargers and tips can be used on both North American electrical current and overseas current without needing a converter -- although you will still need a plug adaptor for foreign outlets.

Netbook Tips

iGo's 400 Series tips are used to charge netbooks. The 400 series includes seven different tips to choose from, depending on the brand of netbook you own. iGo has two netbook chargers -- one for standard wall outlets and another that can be used in wall outlets, car chargers or on planes.
