While the 2009 Caterpillar 3304 is capable of 95bhp at 100 per cent workload, it has a power of 71bhp when workload is reduced to 75 per cent. It has an exhaust stack temperature of 548 degrees Celsius at 100 per cent workload and 528 degrees C at 75 per cent. Additionally, it has an engine speed of 1,800 revolutions per minute and a fuel consumption of 7,567 BTU per bhp-hour at 100 per cent load and of 7,842 at 75 per cent.
The 3304 engine measures 45.60 inches in length, 29.28 inches in width, 46.11 inches in height and has a dry weight of 757 Kilogram. It also has a jacket water capacity of 4.2 gallons, a lube-oil system refill of 8.3 gallons and an oil change interval of 250 hours.
Additional standard equipment for the 3304 includes an air cleaner with rain cap, a gear-driven jack water pump, an Altronic V ignition system and an instrumentation service meter.
