Simple crafts can be enjoyable for people of all ages. Construction paper is a useful crafting media that is simple to use. It comes in several different colours and can be used in the printer. Printable crafts using construction paper make crafting easy, especially for young children. Many ideas use a printer and construction paper.

Jigsaw Puzzle

A jigsaw puzzle craft will provide young ones with plenty of entertainment as they create the craft and after. For this project, all you need is an Internet connection, a computer, a printer, construction paper and scissors. Find puzzle templates on the Internet. The puzzle can be on anything that you like. Print it out on a piece of coloured construction paper. Cut the template into puzzle pieces. Now you can mix up the pieces and arrange them again as many times as you like. To give this puzzle more staying power, laminate the pieces.

Napkin Rings

Using a printer and construction paper, you can create simple napkin rings for any occasion. For this craft, you need an Internet connection, a computer, a printer, construction paper, scissors and glue. Print out small images from the Internet and cut them out. These images can be anything from small pictures of shells to flowers to animals. These will serve as the decorations for your napkin rings. Cut a sheet of construction paper into 1-inch-thick strips. The strips should be about 5 inches long. Glue the ends of one strip together to form a circle. Do the same with the other strips. Now glue an image that you have printed out to each construction paper ring. Allow the glue to dry and then use the napkin rings when you set your next table.

A homemade calendar is a craft that can be used year-round. For this craft, you need a computer, a printer, construction paper, glue and markers. Print out a calendar for the upcoming month. Glue it to a piece of construction paper. Then use markers to write the name of the month at the top of the construction paper. Also use markers to decorate the rest of the calendar. If you want, cut out small, simple shapes from another piece of construction paper. These can be squares, stars, circles or whatever shapes you prefer. When a day is done, glue one of the pieces to that day on the calendar to cross it off.
