Updated March 23, 2017

Sniper games for the PSP handheld system offer action and adventure for avid gamers. Most PSP sniper games feature realistic graphics, storylines and a slew of weapons. PSP sniper games give you the chance to carry out missions and destroy the enemy. Eliminate your rivals with a single shot from your sniper rifle and stand your ground against multiple enemies in a PSP sniper game.

Siphon Filter: Dark Mirror

The popular "Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror" is available on the PSP handheld system. The game features superspy Gabe Logan's investigation into terrorist attacks. "Syphon Filter" allows users to enter various modes to take on the bad guys. The sniper mode on "Syphon Filter" makes it one of the most realistic PSP sniper games on the market. The game is comprised of seven missions that must be completed before Logan saves the world. The game can be played with up to eight online players.

Brothers in Arms: D-Day

"Brothers in Arms: D-Day" gives control of two characters to PSP players. Players must successfully lead their squad through the French countryside during the war. Although you are leading other players, you can still take advantage of its sniper mode. The sniper mode enables you to take out the enemy before they are aware of your presence. Even though the graphis are not as great as "Syphon Filter," the game is still great for PSP players who enjoy using the sniper mode.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas

In "Tom Clancy's Rainbox Six Vegas" you can take control of the main characters. One of the characters is sniper Shawn Rivers. Using Rivers, your job is to fight back terrorists who are trying to take over the city of Las Vegas. The game's campaign is short, but there is a lot of action packed into its five levels. Up to four players can play along with you while you navigate the streets of Las Vegas.

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2

Players of "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2" get the advantage of being a one-man army. In the game, you are a one-man army pitted against rebels in Mexico. You can use any of the lethal weapons in your arsenal, including your sniper rifle, to take down the enemy. Although the game does not offer a multiplayer mode, it is a solid single player game.
