The holidays are your opportunity to show your wife how much you appreciate all of her hard work and dedication to your marriage. In order to spoil your wife for Christmas with the perfect gift, consider her interests and personal style. Show your wife that nobody knows her better than you by giving a gift that caters to her hobbies and what she loves.

If your wife is constantly on the run, she might not always be up to dishes and laundry when she's at home. Expand her down time by hiring a housekeeper to help offset some of the tedious chores at home. Have the help come once a week to minimise the work your wife has to put into keeping a spotless home.

If your wife has been talking about repairs that need to be done at home or about changing the colour of the living room walls, surprise her by renovating your home. Plan for your wife to spend a day or a weekend away from home with a family member or friends and work on the house while she's gone. When she returns, she will be floored by your hard work.

Spoil your wife with a new piece of jewellery. Find something that caters to her personal style. For example, if your wife loves vintage clothing, consider an antique locket with a special engraving from you to her. If she is more sophisticated, a chic platinum watch might do the trick. If you have kids, birthstone jewellery is sentimental and is a gift that allows her to keep her babies with her at all times.

Rest and Relaxation

Help your wife relax with a trip to the spa or other soothing gifts. For a more creative gift, make your wife a spa basket with some of her favourite oils, bath salts and lotions. Include body scrubs, a loofah, aromatherapy candles and a CD or playlist with some of her favourite music to relax to. If you want to spring on something a bit more extravagant, give your wife a gift token to a spa and treatment centre where she can get a full workup done.

If your wife has a hobby she loves, give her a gift that encourages her to practice it more. For example, if your wife loves tending to her garden, create a basket filled with a watering can, seeds to her favourite flowers of veggies, rubber gloves, knee pads, gardening tools and a gardening magazine to enjoy once she's done in the sun. For wives who don't have hobbies, give a trial membership to a class she sounds interested in. Some ideas are dance, cooking, knitting, yoga or pottery classes.
