Some PDF converters may not be entirely compatible with Microsoft Word documents, so some elements, such as footers and headers, may not display properly. To remedy that problem, you should use a program that is fully compatible with Microsoft Word, such as Microsoft Word! A little known, new feature of Microsoft Word 2010 is the ability to save documents directly into PDF format, which means you do not need an external converter, PDF printer or Adobe Acrobat to create your PDF document.
