Adding a countdown widget to your website adds a sense of excitement to your site. A countdown can help promote the launch or upgrade of a product, or build suspense for a more personal event, such as a birthday or wedding.

Three free sites that can help you create a countdown widget are WiddlyTinks, MyCountdown, and FreeCountdown. These sites allow you to customise a widget, and then copy and paste the widget code into your website.
