BlackBerry Messenger allows you to send and receive instant messages with anyone who also has a BlackBerry device. As you converse with someone, the chat is stored under their contact name so that you can pick up where you left off, if you decide to stop chatting for a while. If you want to save you entire chat history, you will need to turn on the chat history, which will create a backup file of all your conversations.
