"Team Fortress 2" was released on the PC in 2007. Your in-game backpack holds all of the hats, weapons and other items you have acquired while playing the game. Some websites allow you to view the contents of your backpack, but other players can see what you have as well. By setting your Steam profile to private, you also set your "Team Fortress 2" backpack to private. This makes the contents of your backpack viewable to no one but yourself.
