The Dell ST2210 monitor has a 21.5-inch widescreen liquid crystal display with a large 1920-by-1080 resolution. These features, as well as its fast five-millisecond response time make it suitable for watching movies and playing games in addition to typical computer tasks. Before you can take advantage of the ST2210's features, however, you must first attach the screen to the base as part of the set-up process. Learn how to mount the Dell ST2210 monitor to its base for use on any desk, table or other flat surface.

Place the Dell ST2210 screen facedown on a flat surface. Set a towel or piece of cloth underneath the screen to prevent scratches. Ensure the white back of the screen faces up. There should already be a protective piece of plastic on the screen if you are setting up your monitor for the first time

Pull the preinstalled stand on the back of the screen upward. Grab the circular monitor base and attach it to the bottom of the stand. You should see mounts for the base. Align the stand with the mount and push in.

Turn the thumbscrew on the back of the base clockwise to tighten it and secure the base.

Grip the monitor with two hands and set it on its base so that you can see the screen.

Set the monitor on the desk. Plug the monitor's cord into the space available on the back of the computer. Monitor is ready for viewing once the computer is on.
