Jack Sparrow's bandanna, seen in the "Pirates of the Caribbean" series of movies, is a common piece of pirate fashion. There are different styles of bandannas and ways to wear them, but Jack's covers the majority of his head and forehead. Bandannas can be easily purchased from clothing stores or can be made with simple fabrics. Buy a larger bandanna and make sure that it covers your entire head, since it will need to be folded multiple times. The bandanna must be square.

Things you need
Place the bandanna on a flat surface. Spread it out so it makes a perfect square. Turn the bandanna so one point faces directly at you.
Take the point closest to you and fold it so that point is directly in the middle of the bandanna. There should still be three points on the outside.
Grab the left and right side of the bandanna with your hands and place your forehead on the middle point.
Pull the two sides in your hands around the back of your head and tie a knot.
Take the remaining tip of the bandanna in the front and tie it to the back where the other two points have already been tied.
Adjust the bandanna around your head so that it fits firmly but does not cut off circulation.
Tips and warnings
- Use both hands at all times to hold the bandanna in place. It may take you a few tries to get an even-looking bandanna.
