Samsung flatscreen LCD televisions offer two set-up options for your home. The first is to mount it on a wall and the second is to install the base that comes with the television. If you have the base installed first and later decide that you would rather mount it on the wall, you will need to remove the base. Samsung LCD televisions have three types of bases: rectangle, X and oval.
