A ThinkPad X61 Tablet is a portable computer developed and marketed by Lenovo. You may find Computrace tracking software embedded in the BIOS of some X61 units. Computrace, a product developed by Absolute, makes it possible for you to recover your ThinkPad tablet if it gets lost or stolen. If you do not need Computrace, you can remove it from your tablet. Note that you cannot uninstall Computrace by yourself. The only way to remove the tracking software is by following certain procedures through its help desk.
