How to Reset the Alarm on an Avensis Verso

Updated February 21, 2017

The Avensis Verso is a model of minivan manufactured by Toyota Motor Corporation, a Japanese automaker based in the city of Aichi. The vehicle comes with a Toyota TVSS alarm system that protects the vehicle's perimeter, detects glass breakage and sound inside the vehicle. The alarm has its own battery to prevent it being disarmed by thieves disconnecting the battery. You can reset your Toyota Avensis alarm if it is accidentally triggered using your car key.

Approach the car when the alarm sounds. You will need to be close enough for the remote control keys to reach the car.

Press the "Unlock" button on the keys. A small LED will flash on the key.

Insert your key in the lock and open the door manually if the remote control does not stop the alarm.
