How to Unblock an Orange Phone

Updated March 23, 2017

All you need is a special code if you want to unblock your Orange phone. Most cell phones are manufactured unblocked, but because service providers, such as Orange, want you to stick with Orange pay packages, they block the handset. Fortunately you can download unblock codes from the Internet or you can pay a specialist to unblock the phone for a small fee. The code will depend on the make of your phone to unblock an Orange phone.

Connect your phone to a PC using the USB cable.

Search in Google for an unblock code. The unblock code depends on the make of your phone, so search for a code specifically for your phone.

Go on the manufacturer's website and look for the unblock code or call them via their customer services. Most manufacturers are happy to give the unblock codes. Download the specific software that applies to your phone.

Download an unblock software program from the Internet if you could not get the unblock codes from the manufacturer (see Resources). You may have to pay for some of them; others are free.

Upload the unblock code to your phone or upload an updated operating software to your phone if the code did not work. You can get operating software updates from the manufacturer's website.

Go to a specialist or an electronics shop and unblock your phone with them.

Always scan every downloaded software with an antivirus program before installation.
