Collecting trophies on your PlayStation 3 is a great way to show off your gaming skills and achievements. There are various reasons why a player may wish to delete trophies. Whether you want to earn trophies a second time, or want to erase embarrassing achievements, there is only one way to delete trophies from your PlayStation 3. Unfortunately, you cannot remove an individual trophy. You must delete your entire account and abandon all trophies.

Scroll to the far left of the Xross Media Bar (XMB). Scroll up until you find your user account. Press "Triangle" and select "Delete User."
Create a new user account on your PlayStation 3 by selecting the "Create New User" icon on the "Users" menu. Enter your account name and hit "X."
Scroll to the "PlayStation Network" menu on the XMB. Select the icon labelled "Sign Up for PlayStation Network."
Create a new account by entering your information, including a new username and password.
Sign into your new PlayStation Network account. Your trophy list will be empty.
