The Nintendo DS uses the SD card memory format to carry its games. SD card capacity has grown like every other memory format, nearly doubling every year. Micro SD cards are much smaller, but hold the same amount of memory as their larger cousins. Because of their size, however, the Micro SD cards will not fit into the DS. There is a product that will allow you to use Micro SD cards on the DS, and it will actually allow you to use multiple cards on the DS, doubling the DS's memory capacity.
