The TomTom One GPS has three versions--the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Edition. Each will fail to power on for the same reasons--either there is a problem with the battery or power outlet, or there is an issue with the device's internal software. Before attempting to reset the device, charge the battery for at least two hours. Try charging the battery using a power outlet other than the one last used to make sure the problem is not the power outlet.
