MP3 and MP4 music stored on hard drives is an increasingly popular audio format. Insert the USB drive into the USB port on the centre console, or in the glove box.

  2. 2

Press the "Menu" button and select "CD/ Multimedia." Select the USB icon saying "Not Connected."

  3. 3

Move the iDrive knob to the right. Scroll down and select "Music Data Import/Export."

  5. 5

Rename the music you imported. Select "USB1" and click on the "Option" button. Click on "Rename Album." Delete "USB1" using the back key. Enter the name of the new album using the iDrive knob. Click "OK."
