Carrying a maxipad is a necessity for many girls and women. For travel, school or work you may find it preferable to carry your feminine products in carrying case. A case, or pad holder, is discreet and allows you to keep items tucked away and tidy without drawing attention to them. While companies like Glitzy Glam sell pad holders, making one yourself is quick and easy.

Things you need
- Measuring tape
- 1 yard heavyweight cotton fabric
- 6 inches Velcro
- Sewing machine
Cut two pieces of fabric 4 inches wide by 6 inches long. Lay them on a flat surface with the right sides down.
Measure 1/4 inch in from each side of the Velcro and cut. Separate your Velcro tape so you have two pieces.
Lay one piece of Velcro along the top length of your first piece of fabric and the other piece along the other length of fabric. Center the Velcro strips so that you have 1/4 inch fabric on either side. Pin in place.
Stitch the Velcro into place using a straight stitch along the top and bottom edges of the Velcro.
Place the fabric pieces right sides together and pin in place.
Stitch around the perimeter of the fabric, leaving the Velcro top open.
Flip the fabric right sides out. Press your finger along the inside seam to push the corners and edges out nicely.
Insert your pad and seal the Velcro strip.
