How to Recycle Tesco Ink Cartridges

Updated April 17, 2017

Recycling ink cartridges can save landfills from non-biodegradable plastics, as well as conserving materials through the re-manufacturing of used cartridges. Every Tesco ink cartridge comes with a Freepost envelope so that you can recycle by mail. You can pick up additional Freepost envelopes at Freepost locations if you have multiple cartridges you wish to recycle. Once your ink cartridge is empty, you can recycle it in a few steps. This program is only available in the UK.

Locate the "Freepost" envelope that came with your Tesco ink cartridge. If you don't have one, you can also request one from "The Recycling Factory" (see Resources).

Place your used Tesco ink cartridge into the "Freepost" envelope.

Mail the "Freepost" envelope to the address printed on it. Tesco offers reward incentives for every cartridge your recycle.

Tesco does not accept laser cartridges for recycling.
