    Search for the DLL file on your computer. Click "Start" and then type "Mscoree.dll" in the search field. Right-click the file and click "Properties" to find its location. You have to know where the DLL file is on your computer in order to register it.

    Type the following command in the Run dialogue box:

    Regsvr32 C:\Windows\System32\Mscoree.dll

    Press "Enter" to register your Mscoree.dll file. If your Mscoree.dll file is in a different location, enter the command but replace "Windows" with the correct location and replace "System32" if the Mscoree.dll file is not in System32.
