How to Install HP Solutions Center

HP Solutions Center is a Windows-based program created by Hewlett-Packard that allows you to manage your HP printer from your computer. Once installed, HP Solutions Center provides the tools to change the printer settings, use HP’s product help system, print, scan and edit photos for HP’s photo printers. HP Solutions Center comes as part of the HP Photosmart Full Feature software included with every all-in-one HP printer, and it can also be downloaded from the HP website.

    Insert the disc that came with your HP printer into the CD drive of your computer. If the disk installation launches automatically, follow the on-screen instruction to install the Photosmart Full Feature software and the drivers for the printer.

    Go to the “Start” menu and click “Computer” if the disc installation does not automatically launch. Double-click the HP CD that appears in the computer drive list to launch the installation, and then follow the on-screen instructions to install the Photosmart Full Feature software and printer drivers.

    Download the Photosmart Full Feature software if you do not have the installation disc that came with your HP printer. The HP Photosmart Full Feature software can be downloaded, along with the necessary drivers for your HP all-in-one printer, from the HP website.

    Go to the “Downloads” folder on your computer to find the downloaded HP Photosmart Full Feature software. Double-click the HP software icon to launch the installation.

    Follow the installation instructions provided on the screen. HP Solutions Center installs to your computer as part of the HP Photosmart Full Feature software.
