Store-bought powdered drink mixes can be expensive when compared to the mixes you can create at home in bulk. Purchasing a few large boxes of the drink mix ingredients will allow you to create a large amount of homemade hot cocoa mix. You can keep this simple mix in jars ready to combine with water as needed or tie ribbons onto the jars and give them out to friends as holiday or hostess gifts.
