Rinse the fabric under cold water as soon as possible.
In a bucket, mix 1 tbsp ammonia, 3 to 4 drops liquid dish soap, and 1 qt. barely warm water.
Soak the fabric item for approximately 20 minutes, then gently rub the stained area. Place the item back into the bucket, and let it sit for another 20 minutes. Remove it, and squeeze out excess water.
Coat the stained area with laundry stain remover, and allow it to remain for 30 minutes to three hours.
Place the fabric item in the washing machine, and wash it as you normally would.
If the area is still wet, soak up as much urine as you can with a towel.
In a bucket, mix 1 qt. vinegar with 1 qt. water. Apply this solution to the urine-stained area, and leave it for 10 to 15 minutes.
Wet a cloth in cold water, and use it to rinse and soak up the vinegar solution. Allow the area to dry, and determine whether the urine smell remains.
In a bucket, mix 2 tbsp ammonia, 4 or 5 drops liquid dish soap, and 2 qts. lukewarm water. Apply this solution to the area, and leave it at least 30 minutes.
Blot the area with a clean cloth and cool water. Allow it to dry.
Sprinkle baking soda over the stained area. Leave it overnight.
The next day, vacuum up the baking soda.
