Windows Media Player 11 gives you a way to organise your digital library. If you have a list of songs that you enjoy hearing often, you can use a playlist to save the tracks. You can export your playlist to a folder on your hard disk in a few simple steps.

Skill level:

  1. 1

Open Windows Media Player 11 and click the "Library" tab under the toolbar. Click "Now Playing List" and erase any contents by clicking "Clear List."

  2. 2

Add songs to your playlist by dragging the songs from the "Contents" pane over to the "Now Playing List" pane.

  3. 3

Click "Now Playing List" and "Save Playlist As" when you finish adding songs to the playlist. Enter a name for your playlist and navigate to the location where you want to save it. Click "Save" to export the playlist to the desired location.
