The iPhone's slider text has a simple design to it---highlighted text that states, "Slide to Unlock." This simplicity has prompted many users to want to change and customise the text of the slider; however, only jailbroken iPhone users can change the slider text on their phone. Jailbreaking an iPhone is legal, and according to Time, "Jailbreakers are the customers who refuse to fall in line." More importantly, changing your slider text can be done entirely on your phone, without the need of a computer.

  3. 3
