How to Connect a Casio Keyboard to a Computer

Connecting your Casio Keyboard to your computer opens up a new range of possibilities for your instrument, from interactive lessons to musical composition. Casio keyboards come equipped with a USB MIDI port that allows you to connect your keyboard to almost any computer with a USB port. Install the included management software to promote the connection between the two devices.

Turn off your keyboard and turn on your computer.

Insert one end of the USB MIDI cable to the "Digital Keyboard USB port" on the rear of your keyboard and plug the other end into one of the USB ports on your computer.

Turn on the keyboard. The drivers for the keyboard will be automatically installed to your computer from the instrument.

Launch your music software to begin playing your keyboard.
