The IBM ThinkPad T42 is a thin and light laptop. At just 1.1 inches thin with the 14.1-inch screen closed, the laptop offers good portability. It even comes with fingerprint identification technology to replace cumbersome passwords. The number lock key on the T42 is a little unusual, but once you've located it you'll be able to switch between number lock on and number lock off by simply pressing a key.
