Importing BlackBerry address book contacts to Outlook allows for greater access in controlling the sending and receiving of your messages. After downloading the BlackBerry Desktop Software and enabling the synchronisation feature, every time the BlackBerry connects to your computer it will auto-update all available contacts and calendar-related events in Outlook. It will require an adjustment of settings while setting up which contacts have access to your Outlook account and BlackBerry.
