SonicWALL is a type of computer firewall designed for any and all computer networks. SonicWALL can help you keep track of who is doing what on a network, and it can also block people from being able to access sites you don't want them looking at. If you want to add a new website to SonicWALL's "blocked" list, you must do so through the SonicWALL Control Panel utility.

Instructions

  1. 1

Click the "SonicWALL" system tray icon on the computer where SonicWALL was installed. This opens the SonicWALL control panel utility.

  2. 2

Click on the "Content Filter Type" drop down menu and select "SonicWALL."

  3. 3

Select the network that you want to configure from the list on-screen. This will be the network connection that contains users that who you do not want to access a particular page.

  4. 4

Click "Configure." A new window opens on-screen.

  5. 5

Click "Block Access to URL." Type the URL (Web address) of the site you'd like to block into the box on-screen. Click "OK." All users of the network you are configuring will now no longer be able to access that particular website or any of its sub-pages.
