BearShare is a popular media retailer. Users can download the BearShare software and search for the latest songs or videos to purchase in the interface. Once media is purchased, it is downloaded to a user's computer. The iTunes software can play media, such as videos, that are downloaded from BearShare. To transfer videos to iTunes, the files must be formatted in MPEG-4. Once the videos are in your iTunes Library, you may watch them or sync them to your iPod or iPhone.
- Skill level:
Locate your BearShare "Saved" folder on your computer. This is the default folder into which BearShare automatically saves your downloaded videos and other downloaded files. Unless you specified another folder in which to save your downloaded files, the "Saved" folder can be found in your "My Documents" > "My Music" folder which you can access from your Start menu. Your downloaded videos will be inside.
Launch the iTunes software.
Select the "Movies" folder in your iTunes Library in the left pane. This will open the folder and all of its current contents in the main portion of the iTunes interface.
Drag your video downloaded from BearShare from your "Saved" (or other) folder and drop it into the "Movies" window. The video file has now been transferred to iTunes.
