How to Get Rid of T9 Text on My Samsung C300 Phone

Updated February 21, 2017

It can be quite annoying when sending text on your Samsung C300 phone and a word like "friend" becomes "fryer." Or, you could find that your text message said "I'll hate donkey at north" instead of "I'll have dinner at nine." Such mistakes are due to a predictive text technology known as T9, which can be turned off.

Press the menu button on your Samsumg C300 keypad

Scroll to and click on the "Messages" setting of the menu.

Click on the "Text" messages button in the menu that appears.

Press the right softkey until you see an "ABC" image appear. This switches off T9 mode.
