Go to the "Home" screen and select the "Options" icon.
Choose "Advanced Options."
Select a "Default browser configuration." The BlackBerry uses four types of browsers, including the normal Internet Browser, the BlackBerry Browser (for people who have e-mail accounts on a BlackBerry Enterprise Server that allows the use of this browser), the WAP browser, and the Hotspot Browser, which is used when you're connecting to a Wi-Fi hot spot (this probably won't ever be your default browser).
Press the "Menu" button and then choose "Save" to confirm your default browser.
