The PlayStation 3 video game system also functions as a full multimedia system. The PS3 allows users to play video games, watch movies and listen to music. The PS3 has USB slots that allow the user to connect USB devices to the PS3, such as Apple's iPod.

Instructions

    Plug the iPod into one of the PS3's USB slots. These slots are located on the front of the PS3 console.

    Go to the "Music" menu, then find the folder of the music you want to copy.

  3. 3

    Press the "Triangle" button on the PS3 controller, then select "Copy." Select the USB device, which is your iPod, to copy the folder to the PS3.

Tips and warnings

  • Music subject to digital rights management (DRM) will not copy to the PS3.
