"WPS" is the extension for a Microsoft Works word processor document file. Microsoft Works is a lightweight word processing program installed and shipped with most Windows operating systems designated for home users. To change, or "print," a WPS file to a PDF document, the Adobe Acrobat application must be installed. When Adobe Acrobat is installed, the Acrobat print driver is added to all printing applications, including Microsoft Works. To change the WPS file into the PDF format, the document is simply "printed" to PDF with the Adobe print driver.
